Description
Replacement plug fuses for UK domestic plugs, supplied in packs of 25. They protect the flexible lead between the plug and the appliance, so a fault or overload doesn't lead to overheating or fire.
A plug fuse is a deliberate weak point in the circuit. If an appliance or extension lead draws too much current, whether from an overload or a fault, the fuse blows and cuts the supply. This stops excess current flowing through the lead, which could otherwise overheat or catch fire. Discounts apply when you buy multiple packs.
