Description
Red heat shrink female spade terminals for making sealed, crimped connections on wiring in the 0.5–1.5mm² range. They suit automotive, marine, industrial and general wiring work where joints need protecting from moisture.
The terminal has a brass conductor and a copper tubular sleeve, both tin-plated for good conductivity and corrosion resistance. The polyethylene insulation is lined with hot melt adhesive. When the terminal is heated after crimping, the adhesive seals the connection and helps keep out moisture and dirt. It also helps the joint resist vibration. Supplied in a pack of 25.
