Speed Fasteners - U Type (Pack of 100)

U-type speed fasteners are spring steel clips that act as a captive nut, giving a secure screw fixing into glass, metal and other panels. They suit hard metal surfaces as well as more fragile materials, and each pack holds 100 clips.

The clips push on in seconds and go together much faster than conventional nuts. They are also more resilient than a standard nut. The self-locking design removes the need for tapping, welding or riveting. They are normally fitted over the edge of a panel, but can also be used in a rectangular mounting hole away from the edge.
