Straight Cable Jointing Kit Pack of 1

A straight-through resin jointing kit for joining armoured and unarmoured low voltage cables rated up to 1kV. It works with both plastic and paper insulated cables and produces a fully waterproof, resin-filled joint with mechanical strength and long-term electrical protection.

The injection moulded shell forms a rigid enclosure that stops resin leaking out, and the two-part resin bonds to PVC, XLPE, polyethylene and paper cable insulation. Brass mechanical connectors handle copper and aluminium conductors. The insulated earth braid and constant force springs maintain electrical continuity, and core separators keep the cores safely apart. Everything needed for the joint comes in the kit, along with detailed installation instructions. Sold as a pack of 1, in a choice of cable diameter ranges: 6-28mm, 12-32mm or 26-53mm.
