Voltage Sensitive Relay 12v 60A (Pack of 1)

This 12V voltage sensitive relay (VSR) lets you charge two separate battery banks from one charging source, such as a vehicle alternator, without the risk of flattening your main battery. It monitors the main battery voltage and only connects the secondary bank to the charging source once the main bank is fully charged, so the secondary bank can never drain the main one.

The dual sense function reads the voltage of both batteries the unit sits between. If either battery is receiving a charge, the VSR activates, so the second battery can also be charged from an external battery charger or a second charging source. It handles charging currents up to 60A with zero voltage drop. With no moving parts and an encapsulated design, it suits marine applications as well as split charging systems in vehicles. It is a direct alternative to the Durite 60A VSR.

Fitting: The main and auxiliary batteries can be connected to either terminal. The unit's MCU automatically detects which is the main battery and which is the auxiliary, and charges each as required. Connect the small black wire to earth.
